This is a pretty kewl utility:
We can set up all of the servers and desktops that we manage on a regular basis in the Connection Manager and have quick and easy access to them.
The RDCM can store credentials as well so we will only allow that to happen on workstations or laptops that are BitLocker enabled.

I have used this and tried the trial of visionapp remote desktop and I actually prefer Remote Desktop Connection Manager. Once setup it is a time saver whenever I need to quickly remote into one of our servers.
ReplyDeleteGreat tip, I used the Remote desktops MSC plug in but I was not happy with it. It seemed to continuously talk to the remotes and I could not organize the connections. Thanks for the information.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't prefer either visionapp or RDCM. I opt to license remote connection software from Proxy Networks because I am a security freak and I prefer their UI hands down.
