Microsoft Surface RMA Pain

Wow, trying to get an RMA for the Surface RT that Monique uses has been nothing short of a hair pulling experience. :(


That is the _sixth_ attempt at trying to get this failed unit replaced.

Surface Pro is officially off our list of products to purchase.

Because of our experiences with the Surface RT units we will stick with Toshiba or other manufacturer's tablet and convertible products.

Sad ...

Here in the UK it took me 5 attempts to get a failed Surface RT power supply replaced (it failed 20 mins after receiving the device in October). This took about 4 weeks, and eventually I think a higher power stepped in.

Agreed that its not good support.

very sad but not totally unexpected for a company's first release into a new hardware and introducing a new OS into it at the same time only compounded that.

...still not turning me off Windows 8...
