BESx On A Standalone Server – No Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Services Eabled

It seems that after hitting the wall as many times as we have with our BESx install, we took advantage of the free support incident to find out what was going wrong.

It seems that BESx will not install the full server application set on a server that has TS/RDS enabled. The BB technician indicated that there should be a KB on BB’s site indicating such, but we have not been able to find it.

Needless to say, if BESx is going on a standalone server that will be serving Terminal Services or Remote Desktop Services, install BESx before the TS/RDS role.

I have been using a lot of old S2003 boxes as BESx boxes these days. I'm all for virtualization but it seems like an easy way to put what would otherwise be wasted hardware to work.
