Mac on SBS - Microsoft Office for Mac 2008 Screen Shots

We purchased our Office 2004 for Mac via Open Value licensing. That means that we will receive the new Office 2008 for Mac when it is released.

Here are some screen shots of the new Office: tuaw.caom - The Unofficial Apple Weblog: Office 2008 for the Mac screenshots.

Mac Mojo: The Office for Mac Team Blog. Keep up with what's happening on the Office for Mac front. Posts to the blog should get more frequent as the product gets closer RTM.

I do hope we see a huge improvement in Entourage's Exchange integration! :D

Great that they are putting some time into this. I would purchase the Mac version of Office over windows anyday.

I find that Word 2004 has the same quirks as Word 2003 for PC. Those quirks impose some very stringent limits on layout structures in the document.

I am hoping that Entourage will have more Outlook 2007 like structures in it and be a lot more Exchange friendly. I miss my integrated and shared tasks and notes! :(

Word 2007 for PC is leaps and bounds better than Word 2003 for PC. The same goes for Publisher 2007, and even Outlook 2007.

Thanks for the comment!

Yeah I wasn't excited at all with the earlier version of Entourage. I really am banking on it as I want to get rid of Mac Mail and .mac.

Might be possible to Beta test it!

Drop them a line at the Office for Mac blog.

For the most part, I still do my primary scheduling and task managment within Outlook because it is an integral part of our time management system.

The iMac is in the shop area, which is a lot cooler than our office area right now, so I tend to spend a lot of time working on it in the back as a result. :D

Double bonus: Stay cool, and learn more about the Mac environment which I am enjoying so far!
