Environment Canada is catching up: Weather RSS for your area now available

We do a fair amount of travelling on any given day for client visits where required.

Given the fact that our weather changes quite frequently, and we can be buried in work in the shop area with no windows, we need to know what is happening with the weather.

Environment Canada has helpfully added RSS feeds to our local weather conditions. Here are some quick links: We are supposed to get some pretty cold and snowy weather due to La Nina (Environment Canada Info Site). So, it is good to be prepared as much as we can when setting appointments with our clients.

For those that live and work in major metropolitan areas, your municipal road reporting service may be implementing RSS as well. This is something to research as knowing where traffic is bottlenecked can save a lot of hassle and pain with client scheduling.
