Our home SBS 2003 (soon to be migrated to SBS 2008) server has had Windows Vista systems on it since we had our hands on the RTM bits.
So, we needed to have fun figuring out how to get things working before the official SBS 2003 RipCurl (previous blog post) was released.
So, we ran the http://MySBS/ConnectComputer on the Toshiba Tecra with Windows 7 RC (previous blog post) installed on it.
The SBS 2003 workstation setup wizard ran flawlessly.
The above screenshot is after the final reboot and subsequent first user logon to the laptop.
That is pretty sweet … and a huge step ahead of the official Beta! :)

I tested the Windows 7 and getting to connect to SBS2003 was no problem but what was the time for windows 7 to connect to SBS2003 like 30 or more Min. what gives?

Frank,
My experience has been that the http://sbs/connectcomputer time has been no different than XP and quicker than Vista when joining to the SBS domain.
