SBS 2008 - So, just how reliable is it?

With SBS 2008, we inherit all of the Windows Server 2008 monitoring goodness.

SBS 2008 Reliability Measure

This is our longest running SBS 2008 RTM box. The hiccups the box had earlier were typical for driver and management software hiccups.

The above reliability monitor includes all of the recent spate of updates from Microsoft.

So far, the server has been essentially bulletproof.

What does that mean for our clients and for us? It means that we are seeing successful deployments of SBS 2008 with no need to "wait for that service pack".

It means that we can build successful infrastructure solutions based on the new SBS 2008 feature pack knowing that we are working with a stable product.

It means that our clients are getting good value for their I.T. dollars.
